Posted 2025-01-30 by Kari Donovan in Announcements

For the second year in a row, PrecisCx completed a comprehensive evaluation of its sustainability practices with EcoVadis, earning a Gold Sustainability Rating and placing in the top 5 percent of companies globally. The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The rating demonstrates PrecisCx’s ongoing progress toward sustainable business operations and the company’s commitment to transparency and performance benchmarking.

“We are committed to sustainability and very proud to have elevated our score from Silver to Gold in our second EcoVadis assessment,” said PrecisCx President Kari Anne Donovan, PE, CxA. “The annual process highlights our strengths and shows us areas where we can continue to improve.”

In its second rating, PrecisCx improved in all categories, with noted improvements in environmental reporting and labor & human rights measures. PrecisCx earned 100 out of 100 points for human rights reporting. Strengths were noted for the company’s environmental reporting on energy consumption & GHGs and waste; for employee training on health and safety risks and best working practices; and for measures to protect third-party data from unauthorized access or disclosure.

By its nature as a commissioning company, PrecisCx ensures the building systems of our clients operate efficiently, reducing energy consumption and operational costs while improving indoor environmental quality. Commissioning is a prerequisite for achieving green building certifications such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).

“The EcoVadis Sustainability Rating has become an important way to measure and document our commitment to society, people, and the environment,” said Donovan. “We will leverage the process and results to rate our performance, identify risks, and understand where we can improve and make bigger impacts each year.”
