PrecisCx Team Members Take New Roles with BCxA

PrecisCx Director of Commissioning Harry B. Koons, III, LEED AP, CxA, and Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) Engineer Stephen Obermeier have taken new leadership roles with the Building Commissioning Association (BCxA).

In addition to serving as Professional Development Committee Chair for the Education and Training Committee, Harry has been named Committee Chair of the Best Practices Committee. In his role on the Professional Development Committee, Harry uses Tech Talks and webinars to educate members and support the overall goals of BCxA. “As Chair of the Best Practices Committee, I plan to ensure that BCxA develops, updates, and publishes best practices documents based on current practice and real-world experiences that align with our New Construction Best Practices, Existing Building Best Practices, and Ongoing Commissioning Best Practices documents, making them the industry standards.”

Steve has been named to the Mid-Atlantic Chapter (formerly the National Capital Chapter) board of directors. As a new board member, Stephen hopes to bring a fresh perspective to challenges facing the organization and to drive meaningful growth. “While this leadership position allows for greater exposure to a wide range of industry experience, I also look forward to showcasing the areas of expertise I’ve been personally focused on. In doing so, I hope to expand BCxA’s credibility and prominence within previously unexplored areas of the industry.”

In addition, PrecisCx is a 2022 sponsor of BCxA and President Kari Anne Donovan, PE, CxA, is the Mid-Atlantic Chapter immediate past president and sits on the International Board of Directors.
