PrecisCx President Kari Anne Donovan, PE, CxA; Director of Commissioning Harry B. Koons, III, LEED AP, CxA; and Senior Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) Engineer Stephen Obermeier attended the Building Commissioning Association (BCxA) Leadership Summit February 28 through March 1, 2023, in San Diego, California. The event brought together the industry’s leading advocates for building commissioning from across the country. Donovan serves as the Treasurer on the BCxA International Board of Directors and as a liaison to the BCxA National Capital Chapter; Koons serves as chair of the Best Practices and Professional Development Committees; and Obermeier serves on the National Capital Chapter board of directors as Vice President. The PrecisCx team attended the same event last year in Charleston, South Carolina.

“It’s important to learn from our peers and experts so that we can build a stronger building commissioning industry and support PrecisCx employees and clients,” said Donovan.

The two-day summit connected BCxA leadership to the organization’s 2023 strategic objectives related to education and certification, advocacy, student evolvement and mentorships, best practices, and the future of construction and the built environment. Chapters and committee chairs shared their perspectives from across the country. Leadership participated in roundtable discussions, created action plans, and presented findings to understand issues facing the industry.
