PrecisCx Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) Engineer Lauren Kachnycz has completed the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Pharmaceutical Water Systems (T35) training course. The course was recently updated to feature the ISPE Baseline Guide: Water and Steam Systems guiding principles, with particular emphasis on microbial control, laboratory water, and key design philosophies. Purified water (PW), water for injection (WFI), and highly purified water (HPW) were covered.
“I gained a deeper understanding of methods for proper water quality selection, system and component sanitization procedures, and microbial control,” explained Kachnycz. “The course furthered my knowledge of appropriate monitoring programs for ongoing operations and during initial system qualification.”
