PrecisCx Senior Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) Engineer Stephen Obermeier has been named Mid-Atlantic Chapter President of the Building Commissioning Association (BCxA). He has been a board member since 2022 and also serves as chapter webmaster.
“Serving on the board of the BCxA Mid-Atlantic Chapter has allowed me to interact with members of the industry that operate in very different settings from my own,” Obermeier explained. “Exposure to different work styles, industry standards, and experiences has shown the importance of connecting with people in an extracurricular setting. Involvement with BCxA has shown me the importance of educating new entrants to the commissioning world on how the industry operates and ways we can all contribute to each other’s success while promoting the importance of our work.”
Since joining PrecisCx, Obermeier has worked in a range of pharmaceutical and biological lab facilities, hospitals, academic institutions, warehouses, and office buildings. This diverse work experience reinforces his commitment to providing quality commissioning, and the inherent value of thorough and detailed building commissioning.
