Posted 2024-02-27 by Kari Donovan in Announcements

PrecisCx recently completed a comprehensive evaluation of its sustainability practices with EcoVadis, earning a Silver Sustainability Rating and placing in the top 15 percent of companies globally. The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The rating demonstrates PrecisCx’s ongoing progress toward sustainable business operations and the company’s commitment to sustainability transparency and performance benchmarking.

“We are committed to sustainability and very proud to have earned an EcoVadis Silver Sustainability Rating in our first assessment,” said PrecisCx President Kari Anne Donovan, PE, CxA. “The process highlighted our strengths and showed us areas where we can continue to improve.”

In its first rating, PrecisCx strengths were noted for the company’s policies on environmental issues, human rights, and ethics; and on its measures to reduce energy consumption through IT infrastructure, improve energy efficiency through technology and equipment upgrades, provide environmental solutions and training to clients, and reduce paper consumption. Additional strengths were noted for PrecisCx’s flexible work schedule, health benefits, and training programs. By its very nature as a commissioning company, PrecisCx ensures the building systems of our clients operate efficiently, reducing energy consumption and operational costs while improving indoor environmental quality. Commissioning is a prerequisite for achieving green building certifications such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).

“As part of our commitment to society, our people, and the environment, PrecisCx will undergo a thorough assessment of our business sustainability practices every year through EcoVadis,” said Donovan. “We will leverage the process and results to rate our performance, identify risks, and understand where we can improve and make bigger impacts each year.”
