PrecisCx President Kari Anne Donovan, PE, CxA, and Senior Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) Engineer Stephen Obermeier attended the Building Commissioning Association (BCxA) Leadership Summit in March. Held in Nashville, the event brought together the industry’s leading advocates for building commissioning from across the country.

Donovan serves as Treasurer on the BCxA International Board of Directors and as a liaison to the BCxA National Capital Chapter; Obermeier serves as Mid-Atlantic Chapter President and webmaster. Members of the PrecisCx team have attended the event for the past several years.

“We make a regular habit of attending events such as this one so that we can learn from other industry leaders, engage with our peers, and support better building commissioning outcomes for PrecisCx clients,” said Donovan.

During the summit, Donovan attended the International Board of Directors meeting where a facilitator encouraged the group to think about the WHY behind building commissioning. The summit fell during Women in Construction Week, with the above photo taken on Women's Day of female leadership in BCxA.
